First Look: Kites
Here is the first look poster of Hrithik Roshan, Kangana Ranaut and Barbara Mori starrer Kites.
I have no idea why the leading lady, Kangana Ranaut, is kept away from the promotion. As you can see… she is nowhere to be seen in the first look poster. She was not taken to the Cannes film festival, where Hrithik and Barbara were seen behaving like childhood lovebirds.
Hrithik and his dad should know that foreign stars don’t do well here… it’s our desi stars who make the movie a hit. And Kangana Ranaut is definitely a big star now after the success of Fashion and Raaz.
Hope Kites does not turn out to be a Marigold. Remember the Salman Khan and Ali Larter starrer?
EXPECTATIONS
When the title of a film comprises of the word 'dance', it is bound to raise good expectations. More so when the actor starring in it is none other than Shahid Kapoor who is one of the best dancers that Bollywood has today. Add to that the fact that both Ishq Vishk and Fida, director Ken Ghosh's last two films, boasted of some fabulous tracks that are played till date, expectations only soar further.
MUSIC
Even though Chance Pe Dance is an Adnan Sami album all the way, it is guest composer Pritam's'Pe..Pe..Pepein...' which turns out to be the opening track. Written by Kumaar, who of late has been collaborating with Pritam on quite a few songs, 'Pe..Pe..Pepein...' has exactly the same hook that was last evidenced in 'Oh By God' [Ajab Prem Ki Ajab Kahani]. Though the song hadn't featured in the film, Pritam was obviously attached to the hook (based on the quintessential 'shehnai' tune that is heard in marriages) and put it to good use in 'Pe..Pe..Pepein...'.
Big B Caught Carrying a Gun at Airport
Amitabh Bachchan was caught carrying a gun in his hand baggage at Mumbai Airport. The police claim that he was carrying a Gun which had a different number from his license. Finally, Big B gave up his gun, and flew to Pune to film a Bollywood movie Teen Patti.
Bachchan, who was to board Jet Airways flight 9W 202 for Pune at 9.55 am, had declared his weapon as part of his check-in baggage , but the documents he produced for it turned out to be those of another of his three guns.
Although in times of terrorism, this was no light matter, Jet Airways did not pursue it and let the actor board after his secretary took the gun home.
I respect Amitabh Bachchan as an actor, but how on earth did he think that he can carry a gun on a plane. The police are complaining about the registration number crap, but what about the main issue? As far as I know, a civilian can not carry a weapon while flying.
If it was some normal person, like you and me, he would have been behind the bars in no time… Big B was let to fly without any delay.
Indian police should be lauded for their effort!
Kites vs Kajraare
One has an Iron Body… and the other… an Iron nose.
Come this October (Diwali)… you will witness the clash of two of the most anticipated movies of this year, Kites and Kajraare. If you are not aware of the star cast and still wondering about Iron Body and Iron Nose, here is the list: Kites would star Hrithik Roshan, Kangana Ranaut and Barbara Mori. The movie is directed by Anurag basu. Whereas… Kajraare would star Himesh Reshammiya and Pakistani beauty Mona laizza. The movie is directed by actress-turned-director Pooja Bhatt.
More than anything… this is going to be the clash of Alphabets. Both the movies have ‘K’ as the starting alphabet in their titles. We know how crazy the producers and directors are after ‘K’.
And if that is not enough, both the actors’ names start with ‘H’.
All said… I have a strong feeling that both the movies are going to bomb big time at the box-office. How long could anyone survive with six packs and Sinus affected nose?

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will be soon tying nuptial knot with Katrina Kaif, his long time girlfriend.

Something about Ranbir and Aishwarya
What can she do if men of all ages find her so beautiful? Aishwarya Rai though married to Abhishek Bachchan has many male admirers in Bollywood and one such man is the hunk, Ranbir Kapoor.
Recently at the Paa premiere, Abhishek came to know about this; as reported by Mumbai Mirror, Ranbir was seen catching up with Ash and both the stars continued talking to each other until Abhishek came and interrupted them.
As soon as he joined them, Ash told him a secret about Ranbir and that was an incident that happened almost a decade ago. At that time, Ash was working with Rishi Kapoor in his directorial debut Aa Ab Laut Chalein and a young Ranbir who was keen to learn film making, was assisting his father.
There was one instance when Rishi Kapoor and Ash were engrossed in a serious discussion over a shot, Ranbir, who was seated next to them, was busy making a sketch. But before Ranbir could finish his sketch, his dad suddenly took the notepad from him to discover that he was sketching the beautiful Ash.
After listening to this anecdote, Abhishek was quite ‘amused’, whilst the sharmila Ranbir couldn’t stop ‘blushing’.

Here he is in all new short haired chick look to woo you in his upcoming movies A New Love Ishtory and Ishk Unplugged. Well, Himesh Bhai is looking better than all his previous attempts like Baseball caps, Skull Caps, and Chinese Hair Style (Karzzzz), but I’m still not ready to watch him act.
Himesh Bhai, stop making fun of yourself by acting, and get back to what you are best at… Yep, music!
Is 2009 Unlucky for SRK?
how can SRK recover from the failures he had this year? Well, it seems that there is nothing he can do as his movie with Kajol, My Name is Khan, is postponed to January next year. Probably the only saving grace could be his guest appearance in Sushmita Sen starrer Dulha Milgaya. But even a successful guest appearance cannot undo the failures he had this year.
Hope 2010 brings loads of luck for him in movies as well as in IPL.
